Welcome to our new shop, studio & makery!

New brick & mortar location open!

We are growing into a new space where we can keep the craft of letterpress alive and have a retail space to carry goods made by other talented artisans.

We are so excited to create a welcoming space for people to take a break from their digital lives, connect, learn and be inspired!

Who is Slackline Press?

Since 2013 we have been designing and producing unique, letterpress printed goods using antique platen presses made in the late 1800s, which we lovingly restored.

Visit our about page to learn more about the makers and our presses.

What is letterpress?

Letterpress is a tactile form of relief printing that leaves a physical impression on paper that you can feel. It is one of the first and oldest forms of printing and is still thriving today.

How we are using our new space

01 Retail Shop

Our new storefront has a lovingly curated selection of unique, quality goods that are hand-printed, hand-made or created by independent makers across the country. Small household goods, personal care products, uplifting notes, garden gifts and even a few things for your four legged friends.

We are also continuing to expand our own line of letterpress stationery, candles and soap.

02 Letterpress Printed & Personalized Stationery

Letterpress is a tactile experience. We’re excited to have a physical location for our clients to have in-person consultations, browse through look-books and physically interact with the personalized product they are purchasing.

Check out some of our personalized sets here.

03 Artisan Makery

We’re doing our part to keep the history of letterpress alive by sharing our craft with the community. In our new space we will do print demos and host mini workshops not only for letterpress printmaking but for other book and art related crafts as well.

To register for upcoming workshops, visit our events page.
